Private/Semi-Private Lessons

Private lessons are a great opportunity for cross-training, strength training/conditioning/plyometrics and to obtain, refine or perfect a desired skill. At GymZone Gymnastics and Athletics, we believe in holistic and strength-based athlete development and takes into consideration athletes’ physical, social, and psychological well being when creating individualized programming.

We believe in strength and fundamentals first, to ensure a strong foundation for more successful skill development with low risk for injuries. We also advocate for efficient and effective training methods that maximize the benefits for athletes in as few hours as possible. Our coaches consider the developmental stage, personal goals (short and long term), where each athlete is at in their season and to consider our private lesson program as a part of our participants’ whole sport participation and not just as a program in isolation.

Participants must be 6 year of age or older.

*A $40.00 Gymnastics Ontario Membership is required per athlete to participate in Private Lessons. Memberships are a once/annual purchase and are valid July 1-June 30 each year. *Membership fees are non-refundable.

Land Acknowledgement

GymZone would like to acknowledge the Robinson-Huron Treaty of 1850. We also further recognize that our facility is situated on the traditional lands of the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek, and that the Greater City of Sudbury also includes the traditional lands of the Wahnapitae First Nation. We are grateful to be able to learn, live, work, teach and do gymnastics as uninvited guests, on the lands of the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek and Wahnapitae First Nation. To acknowledge these territories, is to recognize that these Indigenous peoples were here prior to colonization, and that the lands hold significance to them, those who came before them, and their future generations.
